I volunteer as Santa each year - with a great Calgary Charity called The Magic of Christmas.
This charity visits over 500 families and thousands of patients in care facilities throughout the city - to bring the Christmas spirit into their homes and hearts. The Magic of Christmas is a not-for-profit charity focused on delivering the Christmas Spirit of loving, caring and sharing to many. We ride on City of Calgary Transit buses (sleighs) - to make home visits on Christmas Eve - and spread loving, caring and sharing to people in despair. Getting the chance to be "Santa", and being involved with this charity, is truly a privilege.
My family is very fortunate to have the chance to volunteer here each year! May your holidays be filled with Christmas spirit!
