Weather looks good in Calgary for the upcoming days. So many people have natural gas lines to make grilling easy! Please make SURE that any unused BBQ gas lines (or any other unused gas line) are left capped off.
If you are unsure - check outside where a natural gas barbecue might go. If no BBQ attached - you need to cap the active gas line.
Although natural gas is non-toxic and non-poisonous, it is highly flammable. See video - to view how easy it would be for someone to turn it on. You don't want to deal with a fire right now for sure!
For more questions or if you smell natural gas you should call the ATCO emergency line at 1-800-511-3447.
